How Sweet: Four-Peat After starting the season with a 1-8 preseason record, the Raider softball team turned the season around and won their fourth straight NWAACC Western Division Softball Championship. The rigid preseason schedule for the Raiders included eventual Eastern Division Champions Wenatchee Valley Community College, Northern Division runner-ups Bellevue College and 10-time NWAACC softball champions Lower Columbia Community College.

New coach; same results

The Raider baseball team started the season with a new coach and new hope. However, ended with the same results as last year, 11-14 and without a play-off appearance.

Head Coach Mike Nadeau took on the task of improving an underachieving program that went 58-90 (64 percent) and did not made the playoffs under former coach Orion Jones.

Raider baseball players make NWAACC All-Star Teams

The NWAACC recently released the list of 2010 all-star players, the four Raider baseball players that have been selected to the teams are Derek Kaaiwela, William "Scooter" Knapp, Alex Bailey, Garrett McPherson and Derek Voigt.

Through the entire season, first baseman Kaaiwela powered the Raider offense and is rewarded with the only Raider NWAACC first team all-star selection.
