						<description>A new state cell phone law has students talking. Effective June 10, the new law enhances the existing secondary laws which prohibit texting or talking on a phone without a hands-free device while driving. Prior to the new bill being passed, drivers could not be ticketed for using their mobile device while driving unless they were pulled over for another traffic infraction such as speeding.</description>

						<description>Clover Park High School is hosting the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life starting on June 4 at 6 a.m. and ending at noon the next day.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The Relay for Life is a fundraising event for non-profit, non-governmental cancer research funding in the U.S. Anyone personally affected by cancer is invited to form a relay team and collect sponsors and donations for the American Cancer Society.</description>

						<description>Tia Toilolo recently entered the Tutoring Center to request help with an English assignment. She spoke to Rebecca Hendricks at the front desk who pointed Toilolo in the direction of the Writer's Center as there were no drop-in English tutors.&lt;br /&gt;

Toilolo entered the Writer's Center and explained her assignment, which was to correct a paragraph of run-on sentences.</description>

Registered users can access approved jobs and internships within the region. The Puget Sound Careers Consortium has formed a partnership with Pierce College and established this system to help students with job search activities.</description>
