Pierce offering Japanese study tour

Pierce students who have always dreamed of going to Japan get their chance if they sign up for the Japanese study tour in Tokyo this summer.

Kazuko Howard, Japanese language instructor will be leading the tour.

The experience will include cultural excursions in and around Tokyo and Japanese language classes at Tamagawa University's campus in Machida, 20 miles from Tokyo.

Tech budget of $463,003 may be inadequate

During January, the technology proposals, totaling $634,441.78 for the 2010-2011 school year, dwarfed the $463,003 allocated budget. Due to proposals being revised or withdrawn by sponsors, the requested amount, as of Feb. 12, dropped down to $486,502.85, but still well over the budget.
